Staff Application

WHYwould you want to take on another responsibility for which you get no college credits, no pay? Because getting involved with your independent ASU West campus newspaper will get you excited about being an active part of the university community; because you’ll get to see your byline “up in lights” when your articles are printed in the paper; because you’ll have a hand in designing the unique student voice at our campus; because it’s your newspaper and you can help create it; because you’ll have a blast putting together a real live newspaper with your fellow students!
@west news publishes every other week. We print Tuesday night and distribute Wednesday and Thursday. For most staff, participation requires no more than a few hours per week.
@west news is a registered student club (ASU West campus Independent Student Media) and abides by all ASU rules related to student clubs and organizations. It is also a licensed nonprofit corporation and equal opportunity employer–although pretty much all staff are unpaid; our reward is the satisfaction of contributing our voice to the campus.
Get involved! Contact: atasuwest@asu.edu
@west news is currently looking for reporters, columnists,
opinion, sports, and campus life writers,
advertising reps (PAID!), and more!!!
-Non-writing positions available as well-
